The Latino Emergency Council (LEC) is a nonprofit, community-based organization created to promote emergency preparedness in the Latino community and to facilitate emergency information when crisis strikes a community.

What we do

We reach into underserved Latino communities to empower people. We help prepare them for the realities of disasters. We help them to help themselves, their families and their community.

Our community partnerships allow us to reach places that mainstream organizations can't. Our passion drives us to help people understand they can help themselves and others . . . not to be victims.
